When Samantha called on Friday night to invite us to her cabin in Tahoe, there's no way we could pass it up! Not only that, but she had invited Alis' Family and Lupita and her husband too. These girls are the girls I've been friends with FOREVER. Samantha and I have been friends since the 4th grade, and Alis and Lupita since we were 14. We rarely get together anymore with all of us at once AND our families too, so it was a fun weekend. Here's a couple of pictures of the cabin:

We spent the night at the cabin on Saturday, and went to Tahoe City on Sunday and spent the afternoon at the lake. Saturday night, we stayed up most of the night (well until 3:30am since Lupita insisted we keep playing until SHE could win a round) games like boggle and another game that I cannot remember what it's called. The kids had so much fun playing with each other and I just love seeing our KIDS be friends with one another.
The boys had fun riding their bikes down the driveway and around the loop on Saturday

My Girls ready to go to Tahoe City
Ellie read Pinkalicious to Edgar and Lupita (the girl is obsessed with this book!)
Having Lunch at the beach/park
The kids had Edgar and Lupita spinning them around until they about fell over themselves!
Obee's always a good sport and went pretty far into the lake with all the kids, fully clothed and with all their tennis shoes on! It was very rocky and took a little convincing to get Hayden in there with his tennis shoes still on.
Samantha and Alis' daughter Izzy Hanging out on the rocks while the rest were swimming
