My Little Cubscout

Hayden FINALLY had his first cubscout meeting on Wednesday. We couldn't have been more excited to put on that uniform and meet the rest of his Den! We posed for a few pictures (above) before the meeting, and I'm glad I brought the camera to take a few at the meeting as well. Right when we walked in the door, he introduced himself and then took off into the backyard to play with the other boys. It's amazing how they all just took off playing, as if they had known each other forever! I really liked his Den leader, Alex and his wife too. The boys went over some things, like the boy scout motto and introducing themselves, then they settled down to make the cover for scrapbooks they'll be making about their year as Tiger Cubs. We were given a calendar of upcoming events and it sounds like the boys will be doing a lot of fun things this year!

This is Hayden with his friend from school, Dylan. All of the other boys in the group go to a different nearby Elementary school, but they didn't know each other because they're in separate classes!
