Hayden's Fair Projects

Last year Hayden had so much fun entering his projects in the local Fair, that we decided to definitely do it again this year. This year he entered 3 photographs he took on our camping trip, 2 Lego projects, 2 Art projects from school and he also made some blackberry jam to enter with the berries that we picked. When I was little, we used to have to wait until the fair to see how our items placed, but now they have the judges for most of the entry items right there to let the kids know how they place. Hayden got 1st place on all but his lego jet. He placed 2nd on that and couldn't be more excited. He was so serious when they asked him questions about his projects and what they all meant. We still have to wait until the fair in Sept. to see how he places on his photographs and jam, so there WILL be some surprise left, thankfully.
