Well Boo's birthday party was a huge success and the boys all had a great time! I think every boy caught at least 3 or 4 fish, except for Hayden. He didn't catch any until everyone left and the party was over! Oh well, he was much more interested in learning to cast the fishing pole by himself and putting worms on and off the hooks of the fishing rods. Luckily all the parents were able to stay, as we had requested on the invite and they were a big help. It got a little chaotic when we first began fishing, because I was trying to be mom, photographer, cast the poles AND put worms on hooks at first.
Obee had a terrific idea to hook up the little trailer to the lawn mower tractor and spent the first half hour of the party driving it around from car to car as the boys arrived to pick them up and give them rides to the pond. Of course, no one wanted to get off at the pond, so the trailer just got fuller and fuller and they had to squeeze real close to all fit in it!
Hayden loved all of his gifts and spent all day after the party playing with them. He woke up every few hours last night asking me if it was morning yet so he could play with his new toys again!
Here are a few (haha yeah right!) of the many pictures I took yesterday.....
The boys all made these froggy sun visors to keep the sun out of their eyes. Thanks Sara for the great idea!
Hayden was so excited to wear his Grampa's hat all day! Once he had Grampa's hat, he didn't want anything to do with his froggy visor he made.

Got Worms???

Ethan with his fish

Obee with Aidan and his fish

Aiden with his first catch of the day

Casey getting ready to throw a fish back in.

Even Jordyn caught a few fish of her own! Who says Goldfish don't count, huh?!

Um, never realized his cheeks could get this big. Surprisingly - all this air didn't get the candles out on the first try!

Eating Ice cream balls with sissy

Opening gifts. Everyone was excited about this part!

Awww....Hayden and Johnny

After gifts, they went on another tractor ride and took a few kids back to their cars

Hayden decided he could cast the rod all on his own, and cast it right into the blackberry bushes. Grampa came right to the rescue and hopped right in the pond to unhook it for him! Look at those white legs!
